Cripple Creek drive Oct. 12

Will,

I don't know if you saw my response to Mark but - if I am unable to attend NSXPO *AND* I return from CA. in time, I will
be there for this drive. A few factors are "up in the air" right now.

Joe

Who's all in for this Saturday? Thinking of going......
I don't know maybe Will can chime in and give us a head count if he has one? I know he said this was cross posted with the S2000 club I think? So if that's the case maybe we'll have a decent turnout?
I know I talked to JohnJohn today and he said that he is getting his car tuned with the ITB and RDX injectors in the a.m. and said that he might meet us mid way on the drive after he gets the car tuned.

Good times, good to see some familiar and a few new faces. A few of my pics:

Will, yea I know it turned out to be a great day for the drive, but when I woke up the weather looked pretty bad at least where I live it was rainy and foggy:rolleyes:. I've had more time to mess with my CCU and I can't get it to blow out hot air! It at best blows room temperature to cool air out when it's set to even 90 on the dial. I'm just planning on having it redone by Brian K. By the way does anybody here locally want to help me out taking the CCM out of the car? I have no idea how to take it out and I'm definitely not going to just try and hack at it with a butter knife to try and get it out. Any help from someone local will be much appreciated!! I'll buy dinner/lunch and drive to their house if someone wants to help me with that??

It is not hard to remove; Brian has a good diy on his website. But before doing that, ensure that the valve under the hood is free to move and moving to allow hot air into the heater core. CCU problems are usually characterized by by the fan only running on high.

I'm in Silver Spring MD right now, and should be back in Colorado by the middle of next week. If you are still having problems, get a hold of me and we can see what we can do together.

Mark

Thanks Mark I will let you and Will know here if I don't have time to figure it out soon, then I'll probably ask one of you guys to help me out with the issue. Thx!
