how was the fit?

Although individual installations may differ, my fit was Good to Excellent.
1. No major installation issues.
2. Gap around the edges ranged between ~3-5mm.

Since this is one of the Backyard Specials copies Peter had and not the original NSX-R hood that he is working on (in CF and fiberglass), I believe it best to contact Peter.

How was the weight?

Sorry I did not weigh the hood prior to installation.

Hello Ash, it was fiberglass before painting and did come with a vent screen.

Wow havn't seen that NSX ever in Hawaii. If you're interested I can do a photoshoot of your car for free. It would be an honor to shoot a car so nice. I can also get you onto greenbottle, dohcreasearch, or teamrice because I'm close friends with the photographers on those sites too. Slight problem though. . . I'm attending UNLV but will be back home in Hawaii for the summer and can do it then if you would like. (It'll give you some time to add on the NSX-R wing :wink: ) You can e-mail or I can post some of my work if you are curious to see what I can do. I expose my pictures with a brand new Nikon D200 and was the first place winner of the Honolulu Magazine photography contest. But great work on the car! Nicest NSX in Hawaii. Let me know if you're interested.
