Drivers door will not lock with the key

I have a strange problem. When I get out of my nsx and go to lock it with the key, the door locks, but then it pops back up. No matter how I try, the door will not lock with the key. If I disconnect the battery and try again, the door locks fine. What could be causing this? Thanks

Can you provide some more information? Do you use a keyless entry or alarm? If so, what happens when you use those?

What about the passenger side lock? Same issue?
