Im working in L.A. now and I am probably not going to make this one...sorry. I sure had a great time during the last 2 runs I attended.

Highly recommended...

Good chance I'll make it.. need to get in some real time behind the wheel before I fly across the pond and the withdrawals begin.

I'll be there...I might get another one of my Buds to come out if his NSX gets out of Auto wave in time...

.

What's a good radio to pick-up?

.

club radio's are nice, but expensive and hard to find...we've been using regular two way radios which have been working great...you can usually get a two pack for less then $20 bucks at any electronics store(best buy/frys/walmart, etc)

hope to see you there...

So, those 2-pack radios... are they the GMRS/FRS radios?

EDIT:
After a little research, it appears that the radios need to be UHF. NSXCA selected 464.55Mhz as the carrier frequency.

yes, club radios are UHF, BUT we have been using regular GMRS/FRS two way's with great success...ALOT cheaper and easier to find....

see you Sunday:cool:

Late and last minute entry here. I'll be there. But can I borrow a spare radio of someone if possible?

The entire area from oceanside to temecula and parts inbetween are getting pounded right now. I've got thunder and lightning 5 miles from here.

See attached.

I'll do this drive another day.

You're much smarter than I am.

I started to drive up the 15N and got caught in rain in Escondido. The genius that I am, I left off the coil pack covers when I was doing maintenence this weekend. I didn't bother to put it back because I didn't think it was going to rain.

I waited at a gas station to see if it would clear up and called 91 X (Mark) to see what the weather was up there. Wait 20 min and no call back. So I headed back home to rewash the car I just washed two days ago.

Oh well. It just wasn't meant to be.

IT'S MY FAULT!!!!

I washed my car yesterday:frown:

hasn't rained in two years here and it rains today:confused:

run has been cancled....sorry bout the weather:redface:

we will do another run in a few weeks..keep ya posted.
