Ok, at the risk of being overwhelmed, or even underwhelmed by the response, I have to toss this idea out there and see what you all think.

After being inspired by NSXPO 2000, I have been toying with the idea of renting my home track of VIR (Virginia International Raceway) in Danville, VA. http://www.virclub.com . I am a member of the track and I can rent it at a reasonable price. I have been thinking that my company (G3 Systems, Inc.) http://www.g3.com might pay for the track and invite as many as 30-50 NSX owners for a fun-filled day (or maybe two) of tracktime at my awesome home track. Since Danville, VA is about 1.5 hours north of Raleigh, NC and about 5 hours south of Washington, DC I wasn't sure how many people would be interested.

NSXPO is a once a year thing, so it is easy to justify it. I know NSX owners have traveled far and wide just to log some tracktime before, so I thought I would throw the idea out there and see if there is any interest?

VIR is an awesome track. 3.6 miles with 19 turns for the whole track. It has a 4,000 ft. Back straight and a 3,000 ft. front straight. The track is very technical, but very safe with no concrete walls to ruin your fun and plenty of run off areas.

So, what do you think?

I live here in Wilmington, NC and I would be very interested. See if you can get something worked out.
