Front Fender Question

Perhap a crazy question, but here goes:

Are all OEM NSX front fenders the same and interchangeble, regardless of the year of the vehicle?

In looking at the Acura data for front fenders I noted that the pre-2002 fenders have a different part number than the 2002+ fenders. I'm unsure, however, if this reflects a change in the design of the fender, or simply a change in the fender's part number.

Does anyone have a definitive answer?

Thx.

Yes, they are a different design. The 2002+ have a hole in the lower, rear of the fender to accommodate the 2002+ rocker cover moulding.
It will bolt on any year NSX but there is that hole so if you are using the pre-2002 rocker mouldings it will be exposed.

The 2002+ door and quarter has the same holes and for this, is different as well.

There are no other aesthetic changes in the fenders for the American car.
