My 94 has a radio, that when the car sits in the sun on a hot day with a sunshade, and cockpit temperatures get hot, the radio will not come on. It might come on on the way or it might have to sit in the garage overnight before it operates. Somebody help me with a logical explanation and a solution.

Does your car have a factory stereo?
Most amps have a heat circuit that will shut the amp off if the circuits overheat.
Other NSX owners have problems with their speakers malfunctioning in higher heats, however, I think you're talking about the stereo shutting off.
