Just got my 91 detailed

So I just got my car back from my detailer. Ive had my RSX detailed from him 2 or 3 times now and I feel its totally worth the money. I would never be able to do the job he can. When I took the car to him it was swirled really bad. When I got it back it was swirless and looked so deep.

he did mention that the car would need to be painted within the next 5 years due to the age of the paint. He mentioned that the paint is very thin and that he couldnt cut into it very far at all to bring it back.

I'm in the process of detailing my car. It's black too so every defect shows. It's a very time-consuming process. How long did he have your car? I think I've already put 12 hours into it and I'm not even halfway done. My paint is also pretty tired, there is only so much I can do. So many chips and pits. I would love to repaint but I don't think my wife will let me!
