Michigan check-in & spotting by blodi pt.2

Sheesh, how long has your car been gone? You have missed all the driving season so far.

Oh, I have the car and drove it....for 2 days before the turbo seals completely let go. :)
Now have been waiting 3 weeks for my turbo to be rebuilt by Precision in Indiana.

Oh Blodi....... Where's my garage art

^^Well that sucks.......sorry to hear Ryan, hopefully it will be back soon.

Neal, blodi, and a few others from the P-town / N-ville area - check out the gift my old neighbors from Plymouth gave me. Plymouth was second favorite place I've ever lived.

Teej, I am planning on it!!

Bakers July 21st. Anybody?
There's a west Michigan Cars&Coffee group heading out to Bakers this date. Thinking about rounding some of the west side NSX crew and heading over.

Good to see some sports car folks including fellow NSX'ers over the weekend, Patrick and (she DOES exist) Ann Marie at Rolling Sculpture, and even more on Sunday at the Toledo Cars & Coffee starting point.

haha.... I hit you up months ago about doing something cool with one of my photoshoot photos. I did say no rush though. All good though.

God, my short term is getting bad anymore, sorry. Shoot me a pm or email sometime and I'll get something done for ya!

Good to see a lot of you yesterday for the Toledo run. Maybe next time I'll have my car in one piece. But still was fun riding along in Trevors new beast, which seemed to have no problem hanging on the more "spirited" sections of the drive. :)

Also, I should be able to make the Bakers meet up this weekend! My turbo should be getting back to me in the next couple days and I moved my work trip around so I'll be back on the red-eye Sat morning.

FYI in case I get spotted, I will be at Gingerman this Weekend attending the WMHM. I do not see any other NSXs registered though I was hoping to.

Jhae

Krista and I are heading to setup our camper at the track tomorrow afternoon. We hope to be in the area by 4 and do not plan on heading home until Monday morning.

Where is Bakers and what time does it happen at? From what I gathered it is a Coffee meet. I most likely will be on the track but a friend of mine will have his Panamera and he might stop by.

We usually roll in anytime from 2-4ish and it ends at 6. Its a good 2.5 hours away from Gingerman.

Baker's is a full service restaurant with lots of great food choices, we make it a point to have dinner there when we hit the car show.

It often runs from around 2pm-6 or 7pm, usually weather depending.

We'll be there to meet Jhae, and anyone else who might swing by!

Wondering if we should contact Chris at Bakers to set aside some parking for us or we should just park wherever... I'll only have 1 other NSX coming with me as I have not heard from the others on this side, but I will also have two Porsches and a 360.

Unless we have a large contingent (and someone there to shepherd the reserved space) I think it best to just arrive and park where you can.
There is enough turnover that there's always a chance to park in the main lot adjacent to the restaurant, but even if we have to park a little further out it's no big deal.

What time was everyone planning getting there? We would like to come out for a bit just do not want to miss certain people.

As long as I get my turbo in Saturday (just talked to Precision today and its done and being shipped back today) I'll probably get there sometime between 3-4ish? Not quite sure yet.
I vote for parking out in the farther lot towards the putt-putt course to keep the cars together.

Sounds good, we parked there last year on my first visit. Kinda back near the waterfall or whatever.

Ruh Roe, not exactly the same type of "police escort" you had on the way over, eh?

It was great meeting your son and 993 pal as well, you guys coming over really bolstered the NSX turnout to say the least!

Glad to see you got your car back Ryan and nice to meet you TeeJ. Your car is very nice and looking fwd to seeing the red interior swap. Sorry we could not hang out longer but it was nice to get out for a while.

^^Sorry I missed you guys Tim! I was doing a last minute compression test just to make sure all was good with the new motor since I was still seeing a bit of smoke (which was just still burning out of the exhaust from the turbo seals going.) Can't wait to catch up on some driving and meets now that its all together!

That is a very NSeXy photo! It was great seeing all of you guys on Sunday!

This is not my best video effort, but shows all of you guys driving away.
