Mountain drive and BBQ in warrenton/Shenandoah valley area

The full group consisted of: five NSX's, six Exige's and Elise's, two GTR's, one Viper SRT10, one 360 Spider, one Turbo Cabriolet, one Ford GT, one Shelby 500, and one M3. Thanks to James for hosting the NSX run and the BBQ at his house and for the non-NSX'ers for taking part in the other run and for ECS organizing the Supercar Run.

What a great way to spend a beautiful Fall Virginia Day...talking cars with other auto enthusiasts...cruising through the country in an NSX....and eating burgers and bangers at the end of it all! Thanks to James for hosting the lunch.

We had five NSXs join the "Rally thru the Valley" sponsored by Exotic Car Specialties of Sterling, VA. Turned out to be a very good event, altho that 940 hp Viper biting at my tail made me a bit nervous! We split off after the first hour and took our own route south through the mountains. Attached are some photos to share for those that missed the day. Until next time...

I am sorry there were not more NSX drivers to enjoy the day. It was super. That trip over the mountain on the "twisties" was a joy.
Hey, I got nearly 30MPG in spite of the spirited driving. Go NSX!
Lunch was delicious and just spicy enough :biggrin:.
Can we do it again real soon, especially the "twisties"? Can we? Can we?

I also would give a big thumbs up to the Rally thru the Valley, nice group of guys and well organized run - I would certainly join them in future events.

Maybe we (interested NSX owners) ought to think about hosting a similar event. Certainly makes for a pleasant Sunday!
