Thanks David! Do you mind telling me where did you send to have it extrude honed? Why did you do it? Was the original one have air flow problem? Thanks a lot!
why did you extrude hone the intake pipe? is the pipe that bad? i wouldn't think extrude honing the intake pipe would do anything but i could be wrong. i thought people usually extrude hone intake maifolds and such things that can't be reached.
I think the original question is asking about Dali's polished-on-the-outside shinny looking intake(like K&N filter). And David was talking about polished-on-the-inside intake manifold. Or does dali now offers extrude honing service?

the interior of the Dali billet intake pipe does not need Extrude honing, nor would it benefit from it if it was done. Doing the intake manifold and the head might be a different thing altogether however. I do not know anyone that has documented the HP increase (if any) by posting a "before and after that is the only mod I did" dyno. No I don't offer that service, why would you want to add a layer of expense? - just send the parts in to Extrudehone yourself. (not cheap)
I just bought one from Mark a few weeks ago. The install went well. Sure adds a deeper sound in higher RPM's. I can definatly feel a difference. Now its time for an exaust upgrade
