New Adelaide Owner

[NSX-SA]

Hi fellow Aussie NSX owners.

I have owned a 91 NSX for a couple of years now so i thought it might be time to say G'day.

My name is Les i live in Adelaide with my fav bit if aluminium a red NXS with custom air intake, height adjustable suspesion, upgrade brakes, air deflectors and water spray injection ( for the brakes ), chassis bracing, some under body aero mods and other bits and peices.

We have a total of 9 NSX's that i know of in Adelaide including that yellow twin turbo thing.

I travel to melb a fair bit for business and week end sprint days at Philip Island.

I would like to hear from other owners that would like to do some track days down at the Island so please drop me a line at [email protected].

Are you kidding me you guys have 9 in SA. When i drove my car there people were looking as if they never seen the car before. I wish we could transport your roads over here.

Maybe we should catch up next time you are down in Melb.

BTW i think AU NSX would definetely be interested in the Phillip Island drives if not me as well :biggrin: :biggrin:

Yeah our roads are awesome just went for a fantastic drive with the Lotus club of SA this morning along lots of Classic Adelaide Special Stages. What a hoot - wet, windy and wild roads.

I should be in Melb this week but i wont be driving i'll let you know when and give you details of the next Philip Island sprint week end.

Just a little friendly warning... if you talk to Dippy, AU_NSX or NSXBOX for any long periods of time, you'll find yourself in the modding scene buying new exhausts, bodykits, gearshift knobs... it's too late for them... save yourself while you can. J/K

Maybe you have to come and listen to the exhaust and catch the bug as well. But besides from that nothing much else yet, until i see the new NSXBOX that is.

btw dippy, i got the above order of mods wrong: it should be first a gearshift knob, new exhaust, bodykit, and finally a SUPERCHARGER/FACTOR-NSXXX!!!
So when is your factor-x arriving??? oops... is it okay to mention it on the threads?

lol you will be out numbered soon, as soon as i get my NSX (when i get it) its rolling straight into the body shop for a coat of candy orange (or mazda 2 spicy orange). then off to get an exaust ehehehehehehehe.

I dont know how the back window broke Octane3 just heard a bang from the street where the car was parked and found the mess. Just a word of warning be very careful how you clean the engine cover if you brush or vacum an older NSX cover the felt comes off. I claimed the back glass and a new engine cover on my insurance. The engine cover costs $1,180.00AU.

The coil over set-up is my own. I designed and machined them to suit both std and after market coil over springs.

I got bored one week-end and decided to do something a bit different with my suspesion set-up and this is what i ended up with.

ill get an nsx one way or another, got a unit due to be compleated towards the end of the year so if i dun get one one, i will have the equity to get one in about 6 months.

The smashed window photo is a bit disturbing. And about the felt coming off -- that's the excuse needed to replace the engine bay cover with mesh.

hahahaa...very funny NEO. As a true NSXCA member, I have to help every way possible....I can't have her dad in the trunk, he just wouldn't fit. Since we three bodies in a two seater, this the only option :tongue:
