Most people I know are in the technology industry. Hardware, software, I/S departments, etc. Stock options are a way that many of us fund cars and track time.
A bagger at Ace hardware can do it if you pay cash for the car... mid 30k range for a 91 or 92 is possible... even less with a lot of miles. Save, save, save.
To answer your question, I am the senior manager of international systems services (I/S department) for the leading B2B/supply-chain software company.
