No rental car into Canada ?

We are attending a wedding in Erie, PA in June and plan to visit Niagra Falls
Canada side. Is it allowed to drive a rental car from PA to Canada?

Budget Rent a Car allows it. You just have to let them know.

EDIT: I rented a car from New York and drove into Canada this past August. Budget told me that there would be extra paperwork required, but when I received it, it was the standard rental agreement. When you cross into Canada, they will ask you for your rental agreement.

It's been a while, but I recall in the past one of my insurance companies required a rider in order for the car to be insured in canada.

I believe that the rental coverage (insurance) you purchase through Budget or Avis (same company) will not cover anything that happens outside the US.
