NSX Outing in Malibu

LMR schedules SoCal NSX runs, and last Sunday 16 cars showed up in Malibu for some canyon carving!

We met up at an Albertson's parking lot.

Patty's Blue could be spotted a mile away. She also spoiled us with her lemon bars which were eaten too quickly to be photographed.

I handed off the camera to my friend Mike who joined me for the cruise.

There were parts of dense clouds, which made for beautiful landscapes and limited visibility driving.

As we got further up we were able to get above the clouds

We went to Coogie's for lunch

After lunch we broke off. Mike and I went on a little more canyon carving, including the 1-way. Yeah, a 1-way canyon road, pretty awesome!

We encountered 2 kids practicing sliding, along with their dad following them down in a minivan. It was cool seeing them because I used to go sliding with my friends in parking structures!

Wow - looks like a great time. Super pics. 16 !! The most I've ever seen in person is 4.... For all I know the entire state of Virginia might not have 16!! Thanks for sharing the pics -- oh, and I keep hearing about the great desserts that Patty always brings! Cheers, Jay

The 2 that I know about have very low miles and immaculate paint so these drives may not be in their best interest.

We had 45 on another Malibu canyon drive earlier this year.

Yup, the car scene has just gotten better and better too, with the advent of C&C, it's so great to be able to see these amazing cars in person.

No video from me. I was planning on it, but there was some confusion between my friend and I and didn't end up doing any video

Definitely next time.
