Based on recent discussions at our Board of Directors meetings, and in accordance to the club by-law established in October 2010, club executives should not hold their position for more than three consecutive years without holding an election. As such, we have determined there would be TWO positions available up for election this current off season.
At this time, your Board of Directors is asking for your participation to elect or re-elect two Directors. Members are encouraged to nominate themselves or fellow members for a seat on the board, and we will ask the membership to vote for these candidates.
If you or someone you know, would like to take on a more active role in the running and planning of the club’s future operation and development, please email us at [email protected] with your nominations by Friday Feb 10, 2012. A formal election will be held soon after. Our goal is to have the election results available by Friday Feb 17, 2012.
