OEM FM Radio - low volume

I noticed that the volume on the FM radio is very low and with some distortion when I first turned it on after a day or so. It seems to get louder and back to normal after about 10 to 20 min. with the volume on the high position.

I ruled out the speakers since the CD sounded ok.

Any ideas?

OEM radio is always low and mine always break the fuse when set at high volume. Change mine to Kenwood and it seems louder than the oem and never give problem to the radio fuse.
