Hello everyone!
I have a 1998 NSX-T.
I am coming to you because I am having a hard time making a decision on rims for my comptech widebody.
I would like to get an opinion from anyone on this forum that wants to give it.
Here are the rims I am considering....
The HRE 840Rs - http://216.73.121.214/wheels/images/enlarge/enlarge-840r.jpg
The 841Rs - http://216.73.121.214/wheels/images/enlarge/enlarge-841r.jpg
The 845Rs - http://216.73.121.214/wheels/images/enlarge/enlarge-845r.jpg
The 542Rs - http://216.73.121.214/wheels/images/enlarge/enlarge-542r.jpg
I am going with HREs because I want to go with 11 inch wide rims in the back. And, I don't like any of the other options out there.
You might think I am crazy, but I am kinda leaning towards the 542Rs. Why? Because the comptech kit makes the car more rounded. The 543Rs are a little more rounded. However, the guys at the store are telling me that I shouldn't go with them because they were designed for Porsches. But, my friend has RH wheels that were made for a Porsche on his NSX and they look awesome!
I am going to go with 18s in the front and 19s in the rear. I am doing this because I have 17/18s on there now and it doesn't look as good as it could. That is because there is a lot more fender room with the widebody.
Next opinion....
What finish do you think would look best on the kaiser silver? Here is what I am considering...
- Brushed - This is kinda like the stock 7 spoke except a little
nicer. HRE is the only one that offers this, according to
them.
- Painted - To match the body color
Also, anyone have any idea how much I can lower the car with
the Comptech adjustable suspension and swaybars.
Any other tips you might have for me would be greatly appreciated.
Keep in mind, it has a SC, Ring and Pinion, Headers, Exhaust and Intake.
Thanks for your help. I know I should be able to do this myself but I like to get other opinions. I have been asking everyone.
