Since my car has been snowed and iced in for a while now, I had to find some other activity to occupy what little free time I have. The annual Orchid Show is going on at the Botanical Gardens and this year they have done away with the photography restrictions of past years and allowed photography at all times.

And now, to honor Roger's request for some photos and in celebration of his mom's 80th birthday where orchids will be the flower du jour at her upcoming surprise party, here are some samples.........

Excuse me sir sexually explicit photos are not permitted on PRIME

Excellent work as usual

Bob, I've never seen such great photos using a Kodak Brownie! You've got talent

Bob you are such a pistil!

Bob, great "chewing the fat" with you tonight, thanks for posting those magnificent pictures, maybe I'll just blow them up and put them on the tables as they're so much nicer than anything I can buy locally. As usual, your photo talents far outshine whatever legal shenanigans you could possibly be capable of!!!!

Bob, Your even better then I thought! Any flash burns from the powder for the lighting? Gil

Ah, the good old days.......

No flash burns from powder but have had some "fun" exploding bulbs on the GraphicView. The amazing thing is that camera was popular with photojournalists for quite a while during the late 40's to mid-50's despite its size. We have come a long way to reach the pocket digital age.
