Where is a good place to purchase a racing (SA) helmet on Long Island, preferably eastern Nassau/western suffolk area, with decent service, selection & prices.

One option is to look up your nearest dealer on the helmet manufacturers' websites:

Arai
Bell
Shoei
Simpson (no dealer locator)

In doing so, I would avoid motorcycle shops, and concentrate on finding a road racing supplier.

i got 2 helmets from them at great prices with prompt delivery - they also give a discount to nsxca members
