I'm thinking of selling my NA1 and would appreciate any comments on a realistic selling price. I've seen some of the numbers on CarSales which seem optimistic, on the other hand this is a pretty special car.
The details are:

  • Honda NSX Coupe (NA1) Automatic Transmission & Power Steering
  • One owner, Australian Delivery.
  • Car number 288, Built Nov 1990, Complianced 1991, Purchased 16/1/1992.
  • 150,000klms Black over Red, Black interior (perfect).
  • Original paint in excellent condition. Nose cone repainted for stone chips some time ago.
  • Full Dealer Service History, 3 belt changes, last belt and tappet service at 145k klms
  • New correct Bridgestone tyres.
  • TSW wheels, imitation centre lock 16 & 17 (next model’s size). Original 15 & 16 available with tyres. Spare unused, all tools and books.
  • Updated AC controller and EPS boards (only known electrical weaknesses), new master cylinder. New aluminum radiator.
  • Original sound system, rebuilt speakers and amps. Head U/S and system adapted for external input (eg phone).
  • Never been accident damaged.
  • Original spoiler fitted, new one + fitting kit to be supplied with the car.
  • 3 Keys, “Proximity tag” security system, 2 remotes.
  • Battery charger connection.
  • Totally original apart from where noted above.
  • Queensland Registration
  • Large collection of memorabilia: Honda book (126 pgs), Australian and Japanese brochures, numerous magazine articles, framed print of Crick’s Targa winning car.
I'm not desperate but if I thought the price was right I probably would move it, especially if it were to be a painless sale. I've spent over 50 years turning cash into cars perhaps it is time to turn cars into cash.
Are there any specialist dealers who may be interested?
Any comments will be appreciated,
I tried to upload a photo but failed, it looks virtually brand new.
Thanks
