Hi Detlef,

Are you really going to upgrade to 02?? I didn't think you were a fan, particularly the Fiat style lights?

Q: if you are doing this, what chance you make the moulds to supply the side skirts, rear valance and lower front valance in CF?? please

regards

Paul

yes, no way back.
I changed my opinion after last test drive with the NSX-R NA2 press car.
It was not the power (the Procar NSX has the same engine output) and the 6 speed gearbox (we use the same too)

The difference in front handling is more than feelable, IMO thats a big improvement.
At higher speed there is a dramatic change in stability.
The better aerodynamic and huge weight savings at last are responsible for my decision, the evolution isnt to stop
But it was a hard decision.

Actually we are busy to sort out the changes for further weight reducing.
The target is to bring the car under 1200 kg.
We also ordered special RE55 tires in SP2 (dry spec) in japan.
They should arrive next march.

With the frontlights we plan to do something real special.

We dont plan to do that.

Are these for sale?
No, this is a single project.

We dont plan to do that.

Surely it would help you to acheive your 1200kg target  Pretty Please

Hi Detlef,

The story keep continuing I see
If you can, elaborate a little more on the difference between the cars with the NA1 style and NA2 style front. I would have thought that the NA1 style frond with the addition of the NSX-R hood, underbody cover, NSX R chassis bars etc. would already have improved the balance and stability of the car significantly. Or am I mistaken?

Second, I have seen your rear window garnish in carbon. Is there any weight savings involved in that ??

With all that mods like vented hood, underbody plate, airduct and the R reinforcement parts, the balance and stability of the Procar car was very good, thats right.
From that point of view there was no need for a change.

But with the new front, the car should run 5-10 Km/h faster in topspeed, thats what I heard from my R&D friend,
because the aerodynamic is better.
I do believe that.

I also got that underbody piece which connects the front lip with the underbody front plate, thats another mod.

The main target here is the weight reduction.
The heavy bumper steel frame will be changed to a very light version, we will get this part from the racing guys.

It was designed for the Honda press cars to lower the weight and its now installed at their race cars.

Yes, it is.
But its not that much. (0.5 kg)

Hi Detlef,

as i pm'ed you, YOU ARE KILLING ME, love the looks of your car say... 02+ NSX-R with pop up lights.

good thing is you had the pop up lights first, that way you made it possible for us to have R hood for pop ups. thanks for that.

regards,

antonio

well, the NA1 hoods and headlight covers are closed projects, in the past we worked over 18 months until all was perfect.
There is nothing more to do into the future for the old front style, we have 2 complete NA1R hood and cover sets in stock as rest from the last production.

A new Procar NA2R spec 2 hood for 2002+ NSX will come next, we plan to upgrade our old version.
Its optimized in weight and have some special details.

Now we have the chance to work out these details at our car, because it will have the lastest
spec in optic.

the front of the car is clean now.
The most of the NA1 cables found new places, we did a special new harness for that.
The 2nd NA2 headlight is in backorder, so we have to stop that work here

Because we dont wanna rest and still have 16 projects at our winters to do list, we installed the new 330mm 2pcs rotor system for the rear.
The R pads and calipers are still installed, a bigger size of rotors isnt possible regarding the 17'' NSX-R wheels. The brake project is closed now.
