Looks like the tall Denso oil filters are available via Amazon again. Get'em while you can.

Just received my filters ordered from Amazon. Interesting that they were shipped direct from Denso US. Likely they are still in production.

My car more than almost of the time sits in the garage. So if I change the oil once a year, do I need change the oil filter as well?

I can't imagine changing the oil and not changing the filter. False economy to skip this step.

I agree. I would definitely change the filter every time also.
