Relay identify help

Hey guys I need help finding info on this relay.If your facing were the ECU sits behind the seats,it is the black one to the right of the ECU.

Basically its making a click noise here and there.I can be accelerating and when it clicks my car stops going! Sorta bogs out I guess.What all does this little black box control?

Does it sound like mine is old and faulty? Or maybe its something else causing it to go crazy.All help is appreciated.

If the car is a 1991-94 it is the main relay, PN 39400-SL0-003.

This relay controls the fuel pump, and if it clicks off, your fuel pressure will dive, it could be your issue. For around $65-70 it is worth a try , and these are a common failure item.

if it is clicking when you are driving it probably IS the problem. it should click once when you turn the ignition to start the key and click again when you cut the car off. i went thru the same thing a couple of years ago. i was able to repair some of the electical points in it and it has been fine for 2 years now. but from what i hear even that is a temporary fix.
