Saving 2017 Nouvelle Blue NC1 #33

I bought wrecked NC1 and want to document the process to help somebody who is thinking to do the same.
First before you bid, check how much parts cost and if they are discontinued. Just a hood cost 15K. Yes you can't buy many parts for NC1 anymore.
Second calculate all auction and broker fees because there are many. Have the car inspected before you bid. It may have a hole in the transmission.... If airbags deploy the computer disconnects the main battery for safety and you can't start it or even shift to neutral. You have to get HDS and let the computer know that it's safe to send power from the main battery.

Finally I got little time to work on the car. Last weekend I was able to drive it for the first time. It felt really good. If you buy wrecked NC1 check cables feeding front fuse box . There is a cable marked for fire department to be cut after an accident. I got most parts, but still looking for all airbags, trunk box and the ugly nose beak.

Not as interesting as your Type S . You did phenomenal job. Today I wrapped third brake light . It was missing a peace but insted of paying $1800 for new I used JB weld and plastic from rear camera housing to form it and wrapped it.

Taillights work ! Rear horns are welded and finally got the right rear harness and trunk box. Still waiting for for right roof airbag and seat belt with no ETA.
