No, these units (sensors) are integrated into the taillights.
If there is a brake lamp (bulb) failure, (US NSX have 4 brake light bulbs) the red LED light into the gauge cluster triangle display will stay on.

The sensors are 4 reed switches in series, with each reed switch triggered by one of the 4 brake light bulb circuits; if a bulb is out, that reed switch interrupts the circuit, triggering the bulb-out indicator. The reed switches aren't sensitive enough for the low current of LED bulbs, so LED's trigger the indicator.

With LED's, ground at the R tail connector, nicely highlighted by @centerpunch in post #90 here:

Well, I decided to change all bulbs into the taillight, because they are old now. From time to time I got a brake lamp failure light into the triangle display.
I had these new sensrs in stop and changed them , but I find out that the sensors on my NSX are different, because I only have 2 brake light bulbs, 1 at each side. Something special on old models (KG). Good that I have some spares too. I decided to install them not at the back side of the taillights, I do install them outside. So I can change them without removing the taillights.
