What do you guys think of the new NSX?
I'm not sold on the look and it's quite relatively low powered when compared to other supercars?
At the risk of being shot down, I am not a huge fan. The new NSX should have looked something like this AM concept:

A concept on someone's computer - not a real car in any sense, gorgeous as it is! As for the NSX v2, it shows great promise to me, and I can't wait to see it "in the flesh". Don't know if I'll be able to afford a new one though? :)

I totally agree with noisuf that is what the next NSX should look like I would buy that AM in a heartbeat over the new NSX.

So lets put a price on the next AU NSX. From the forums HONDA is pitching the next NSX somewhere around the Porsche 911, Audi R8 but below the Ferrari 458. So with prices ranging from mid 350-400k to over 500k my guess is the new NSX will have an rrp of around 300-320k.

Any other guesses?

I was about to say I can't see a Honda being priced over $300K but then I thought of the LFA.............hmmmmm..... $349K. :p

Yeah but the last 2005 NSX was $260k 10 yrs on from that $300k plus..... easy. In the US the last NSX was priced at $80k they are predicting it will start at $110k if you use the same comparison it should be well over $300k.
So whats your guess Micheal

+1.

OTOH, a typical DI engine will have accelerated carbon buildup problem around the intake valve area, do you think NSX v2 will have this problem as well?

your dollar is a lot stronger now and this car is built in the USA so it should not be as expensive as the last one so that should make it sub $200k which is about where the GTR is they were $220k here in NZ, i would expect them to be the same this time round.
$115k USD is about $125k AUS today plus freight, Dealer markup and tax should bring you up to that $200k mark, then expect to pay more for the upcoming droptop and "R" models there will be more than one version so base model $200k and up from there

The 911 and R8 are priced around $115k in the usa the same cars are $380k here its simple maths

New NSX is not on the radar for me.
Doesnt give me the same feelings as the original.
I think it'll be priced between $250K-300K.
GTR 35 is $75k US, so it should be priced 50% more.
by the time NSX comes out in OZ, there will be more competition.
