Anyone ever purchase a 2000 plus vintage of this auto and then slap a supercharger on one? I am thinking of buying one for a DD and always enjoy the extra torque of a supercharger as long as it does not reduce reliability.

Look into the TRD line of SC. If one is avail. for your model it will not but may actually increase value since it is designed by Toyota.

I have a TRD blower on my Tacoma. TRD USA aren't the most diligent in their tuning. I needed to run an URD piggyback solution to get my timing and AFR in control. With that said it's been bullet proof and I now have almost 140k on that truck. TRD blowers have factory fit and finish. Unfortunately, I don't believe they ever made one for the last gen MR2. Please correct me if i'm wrong.
