Wanted to share this repair.
Have returned to NSX ownership after a 10 year gap. Slowly dealing with minor issues with latest purchase ( most seen before). Had a new one with this one, where the trunk lid was raised by 1/4” on front LHS edge. Thanks to YouTube found a video highlighting issue as hinge wear. New hinge has fixed it.
See pictures of the old hinge. From what I can tell is that wear develops at the pivot points and allows the hinge to move pushing up the leading edge of the hinge. See picture showing normal gap and gap when hinge has pressure on it. I did not take pics of the new one but this play was not there.
Maybe there was other way to fix this, but this worked.
