It all depends upon what type of tuning you are looking for. I would recommend going to Auto Innovations in Milpitas if you are shopping for tires/wheels/suspension. They do excellent alignment work as well.
If you are in need of installing a Comptech Supercharger or just need a good tuneup or mechanic, I would recommend Don Lam at Hilltop Auto Service in Daly City.
If you are in need of big power like a custom turbo setup, I would definitely recommend seeing Gerry Johnson in Modesto www.pansx.com

You are so right but Comptech is not in the Bay Area. I guess Modesto is not considered the Bay Area either.
