Front Rotors have been upgraded to two piece, Project-Mu SCR PRO slotted rotors with trademark green billet aluminum hats. These are "the premium rotor in the Project Mu range, the SCR-Pro incorporates all features you will find in a race rotor – packaged to fit onto standard cars." You can read about them on the project mu website, they were about $1,000/pair bought from SOS. http://www.project-mu.com.au/en/products/rotor_scrpro.php

They are much lighter than the stock rotors due to the aluminum hats, and reduce rotating inertia for better braking and suspension performance. Slotted rotors help the hot gases escape without compromising the strength of the rotors. Brake lines have been replaced with SOS-purchased braided stainless steel lines to prevent brake line flex under the high pressure of the brake system giving an improved brake pedal response. This system allows you to increase brake performance, increase fade resistance, and reduce weight while still utilizing the stock calipers. Add the pads of your choice and you are set, these still have a ton of life left in them due to the gentle street pads I had. Rear Rotors are the stock rotors since they don't do much braking anyways.

Calipers are OEM, pads have tons of life left on them- look at the almost full thickness left in the pics. Pads are Hawk HPS Street pads which last a long time and are gentle on rotors. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one of the front pad pairs in the box so they may be lost, so you may want to get yourself a set of your choosing for your intended application (street/track), usually run about $100/set.

According to my 1995 Acura NSX model year changes publication, the splash shields were upgraded from the factory in 1995, and slots have been added to the fronts to increase airflow and improve cooling while maintaining functionality. I cut the rears to get them off during my BBK install but they can be re-welded if so desired, they are not a structural piece obviously (just being a dust/splash shield). These might make a good set for someone that wants to experiment with cutting a hole and adding a duct to these from the front bumper for a track ready cooling system.

Front and rear calipers are sold.

Everything else is available- the front rotors are a great upgrade for your stock brakes, all the best things about BBK rotors (reduced weight via alum. hats, better heat dissipation) without the expense of caliper changes.

Front Rotors - $600 shipped
Rear Rotors - $250 shipped
SS Brake Lines - $75 shipped
Brake Shields - $100 shipped
Remaining Pads - $75 shipped

The front rotors are 11" (282mm like stock) and hardly have any wear on them at all.

The weight savings are tremendous, a few pounds of rotating weight at each wheel will make a very noticeable difference. Two-piece rotors also open up the possibility of replacing just the rotor ring and keeping the expensive aluminum hat for cost savings.

Rotor specs for OEM NSX from Wiki:

Front rotors 91-96: 282x28 mm
Rear rotors 91-96: 282x21 mm

These two piece rotors have just about NO WEAR, my digital caliper shows 27.88mm thickness (28mm is new). They are half price from new with almost 94% of usable life left (replacement is due at 26mm). It took me 3-4 years to wear these down the 0.12mm in thickness (which is only 6% of their life used bc 0.12mm of use/2mm of usable life) so they will likely be the last rotors you ever buy for your NSX even if you have it for another 20 years.

Bump. Might hold onto the brake shields for a custom brake duct project
