While installing new studs/coilovers...

Took a few shots.... I did a few things today to the NSX. I replaced the wheel studs with ARP studs, OEM size, just a lot stronger. One of my OEM ones snapped and the other ones were longer aftermarket ones for my spacers(which I'm no longer using) so they had to come out as well.

I also installed some Tein Coilovers(rear thus far). When I installed them, I minimized them as short as possible to make the install easy. I then slapped the rim on and lowered the car just to see what it would look like.

Not very good. I'm going to install the fronts tomorrow, and then I'll start playing with the ride height.

The box is just there as backup so the trunk doesn't fall.

Think it looks good for the track but you'd be looking for nothing but problems running that low for sure. Camber problems, tire problems, contact patch problems, not to mention speed bumps and driveways haha.

But since it's not my car, I'd say GO FOR IT!

You guys are crazy. There is no possible way I could drive on the streets or track being that low. If you can see, the rear diffusor is literally touching the ground.

I just shortened the Tein coilover all the way for easy install and was curious how it would look. Then I snapped some pics for kicks.

I'm raising it up so I can atleast get it out of the garage. Like this, I scrapped the jack puck and front lip exiting the garage onto the driveway. I wouldn't dare taking it down my steep driveway onto the street. Or would I?

Too bad I didn't get a chance to install the fronts yet. Sometime this week hopefully. Those rear studs were too time consuming. :frown:

Cheers,

Well Gil, how about it? My birthdays right around the corner!!!

In all seriousness, I would love to, but I just can't. I mean, I could, but I can't. Too many expenses. I'm tired of using lawn furniture in my living room while eating bread and cheese every night.
