parts are all avail, what is the issue?
Guessing local Acura quoted crazy $ for it with mid-July delivery, or stated it was unobtainable? I've been getting that more and more lately. Amayama & oemacuraparts.com both have it.

Rebuild it yourself. A full rebuild takes maybe two hours. Less than a hour to slap in a component.
The $12 Chinese diode package is just as good as OEM.
As for the Voltage Regulator, I have found some interchange information and see below link.
What are the symptoms?
Don't let your original unit be traded in. Just eat the core fee.

Has anyone rebuilt an NSX Alternator?
Seems like a bearing is going and I'm getting this whirring noise. I see where you can buy replacement bearings from Honda but has anyone done this themselves? I've looked and don't see any mention. Thanks in advance.

Dc power engineering has 180 amps ones. New alternator no core needed.
