Hello NSX prime. I'm excited to offer you all something you've likely never seen on here before. I own a 1995 Veilside Fortune Widebody Mazda RX-7 that I'd like to trade for a low mileage and excellent condition 2002 - 2005 Auto NSX. I like every color other than red.

I live in San Diego, California so you'd need to either have the car delivered to me before I have mine delivered to you, or make your way to me with your car so we can trade keys.

if you made it this far you'd probably like to know a little bit more about my car. I bought it bone stock from a dealer in Pleasanton, California in March of 2020. It only had 40k put on it by the original owner and his family. The original owner was a firefighter that never really had the time to appreciate it and his children didn't really see the appeal of it. He took really good care of it considering how little he actually drove it in his 25 years of ownership. It's been in California all its life. Never been in an accident or had any major mechanical issues.

In the past 3 years that I've owned the car I've put about 3,000 miles on it. The first thing I did was get a new stereo receiver to use GPS in the car. Next I swapped the storage bins behing the front seats for JDM rear seats from a RHD Mazda RX-7. Since the rear seats are upholstered with a faux black leather I replaced the light tan seats my car came with for black leather seats. I ended up replacing all of the tan for black(except for the carpet).

In July of 2021 I bought the Veilside Fortune Widebody Kit from Veilside Japan on Vividracing.com. it took 7 months to receive everything from overseas. 2 weeks after receiving everything I dropped everything off at my local bodyshop to get the build started. That turned into 15 months of waiting for them to spend roughly 500 hours doing bodywork and prepping the car for paint. In that time I bought a set of wheels off of a guy that owns the only Veilside Fortune NSX in my area. They suited the car perfectly after mounting small spacers in the back. I also had air suspension installed to make sure that the car's body wouldn't get damaged over time considering how low to the ground the kit makes the car.

I've invested over $100k into this car. It was a dream come true to bring my vision to life and I couldn't be more happy with how it turned out. The experience of building it was the only thing I wish I could change. After years of patiently waiting and slowly stressing out throughout the build process, I'm ready to move on. I always wanted an 02-05 Auto NSX as a daily driver but i never had the money to buy one. So here's an opportunity to own a one of a kind car that would take years of your life to build/have built for you. Money can't buy time.

To be clear, nothing has been touched in the engine bay. I didn't even have it repainted. It never gave me any problems so I didn't want it to start after letting someone take it apart and put it back together. The plan was actually to Tesla Swap the car when it came time to rebuild the engine in the future. That was also my reason for buying an FD with an automatic transmission over a 5 speed. I have a friend that can tyranny swap it if you want.

Heres a cost breakdown for those of you who'd like to know what everything ran individually

$30K - 1995 Mazda RX-7 - 1/500 for the year 1/10 automatics in Montego Blue
$30K - Veilside Fortune Widebody Kit for the 1993-1998 Mazda RX-7 FD3S
$30K - Bodywork and Paint
$10K - 3H Air Suspension with stance guard
$7K - Used Staggered 20" GMR GS1 rims( I have 1 front spare & 1 rear spare being made rn)
$8K - Full Coverage 10 year Self Healing Paint Protection Film install with ceramic coating
$1.5K - Reinhardt Stainless Steel Dual Tip exhaust
$1.5K - Custom Car Shop Glow V1 style taillights by Stopmotionlighting
$N/A - 3 years of hard work, unfathomable stress, and fights with the wife

With all of that being said, I'm not desperate to make this trade happen. I'm happy with the decisions I've made and I still have big plans for this car's future. It has already generated over 10 million views between Instagram & tiktok. I win an award at every car show I attend.

I'll upload what I can on here. If you want to see more my Instagram is VeilsidesFinest. Thx!

Car looks nothing when compared to its stock form haha. Great looking car. I liked the kit since I first saw it in Tokyo Drift..

However, and I don’t mean to be a downer, but there were only 37 (6 of them are red) autos made from 02-05. Not saying your hunt is impossible, it may just take a while.. hopefully you do find what you’re looking for and the fd goes to a good home.

Right? Quite the transformation. Thanks for the info. I had no idea there were only 37 produced with automatic. I just prefer fixed headlights over pop ups. To anyone that else that's reading;

I'm also interested in 1991-2001 examples in excellent mechanical condition. If it's in a rare color I may just leave it the way it is. If your car just needs paint, then I'm open to you covering the cost for a face lift & Paint.

Actually according to a common 02-05 NSX chart going around, there are 767 Autos.
I have an 04 Silver/Silver Auto which apparently is 1 of 3 in that chart.

I used this as a reference - https://www.nsxprime.com/threads/re...ts-na1-91-96-na2-97-01-facelift-02-05.218479/

I just went through the three spreadsheets on the link I posted and when comparing it with your sheet. The total row is for the entire nsx 91-05 production rather than just the 02-05. Lol no wonder we were completely off.

Wow I guess I overlooked that part as I never added up the columns. Only noticed the total column.
That just made my 04 Auto even more rare. lol

Might want to include how much $ you'd be willing to put on the hood to trade for a facelifted NSX. Based on @RacerXwing 's spreadsheet, probably looking at 6 figures unless it's a salvaged NSX.

The chances of a coincidence of wants here is so close to zero that it makes no odds

The point of common currency to alleviate such long shots of trade.

Personally, I had a FD CYM R1 and the NSX was a big upgrade. Now a nice full veilside is rare, but that bolsters my point of extreme odds for any trade.

GLWS.

Thanks for the honesty. I've realized that if it's gonna happen, it's gonna take a while for the right person to find this thread. The car is available for sale or trade while this thread is up.

I'm now saving up to import an auto 02-05 Platinum White Pearl Honda NSX from Japan. I have at least a few years to accomplish that. If anyone wants to offer an NSX as trade before then, you can email me at: [email protected]
