Yankee Stadium Topping Off Ceremony

27 November 2002
The last piece of steel was signed by everyone on the job site before being hoisted in

Today the last piece of steel went in and the frame of the stadium is complete. A party hosted by Turner construction followed. I am sure you will see it on the news tonight but here it is off my cam phone. You saw it here first.

Thanks for signing "Lets Go Mets" for me. I really appreciate it and promise not to tell anyone.
Bob, I heard a rumor that Bailey buried a Mets t-shirt somewhere at the new stadium. It's gonna be worth a fortune some day!!!
