Damn! I wanted to be number 100! Also I like the Sammy Hagar tune "I can't drive 55".

Great minds thinking alike... and at the exact same moment, too!

Pardon a potentially ignorant question, but what is the advantage of MD over MP3?

Sorry for the late reply:
The following information comes from minidisc.org
"In terms of function, think of Minidisc as a cross between CD and cassette. Like cassette you can record from any audio source and playback through headphones or a home HiFi. Like CD the audio is stored digitally, the sound quality is excellent, and you can easily skip to your favorite track. Unlike either CD or cassette you can edit the recorded audio to your heart's content, dividing it into tracks, naming tracks and moving them around, and deleting what you no longer need."

As far as the MP3 vs. Minidisc debate try here for a very good article and here for another one.

Whoever mentioned Symphony X's latest CD... whats the title?

Glad to hear there are some other Prog Metal fans out there. I spend a lot of time arguing with my friends about my musical tastes. They just don't get it, but that's OK with me.

The latest SymphonyX CD is called -

"V - The New Mythology Suite"

Trance is good driving music for me:

Oakenfold
Sasha
Digweed
Carl Cox
Paul Van Dyk

I'm a big rock fan too as well as bits of current top 40 rap and R&B.

I'm weird

Here's my list for short spirited sprints. A little different than most I think:

Blink 182--All the small things
Nelly Furtado(that's right)-Party's just begun
Hooverphonic(yep)--Renaissance Affair
Underworld--Born Slippy
ERA--(Everything)
Crazytown--Butterfly

Now it gets more silly:

DJ Visage -- He has Formula 1 inspired music and it sounds pretty good in the NSX

and... (turns face away and mumble)

Vengaboys

That's a sample
