god some of those replicas are pretty slick, especially when you consider they're available with a BMW V12.
 
I heard from a friend that you were all making fun of my kit that I have for sale on Ebay (I honestly wish he wouldn't have told me). You sure do talk a lot of trash, but do you realize that if I put only a few thousand dollars into performance parts it would be on par with an overpriced NSX? It also gets a lot more attention too. It looks much more modern than an NSX with the LED upgrades. And the reason 13 Million does not show up on IMDB is because it's an adult film, which are excluded from their database. It's about a well endowed gambler who wins 13 million dollars in a poker tournament, after which he purchases my car (which looks amazing under Vegas lights) and hooks up with all the hot ladies in Vegas. Go into any Facinations or Castle Boutique and they will know the movie, and the car. Anyways, enough about the movie. I just wanted to let you all know that it really hurt to come online and see this thread after putting so many hours into this project. I know kit cars are not for everyone, but obviously there is a market - I have 27 bids. I know there are some really fancy kits out there, but I built this myself with very limited resources. I guess my point is you should realize that the web is very viral and you may think your insults won't be seen and won't hurt anyone, but they do. Good night. :frown:
 
That still doesn't explain the fucking TV antenna............seriously...........

I don't really have a problem with kit cars, seriously $40k for a 438hp anything much less replica of a McLaren or CCX is a pretty good price.

Now, in all seriousness, how do you figure an NSX is over-priced. I came to this forum a serious doubter (mostly in all things japanese, sorry guys I'm still not impressed with many Jap made bikes) and after actually researching the car am pretty sold on it being one of the best bang-for-your-buck sports cars out there.

I'm sorry for mentioning that. I really didn't mean it, but I was upset. The NSX is a great car. I wish to someday have the money to own one. But that's not what this thread is a about.

You know, I am usually the last person to drag someone else's car through the mud, but I refuse to believe this is the first time you've seen this kind of criticism of your "Enzo".

I dont know where it looks like an ENZO, maybe you should rephrase the title of your ad. It isn't only on this forum you might want to search other forums where I have seen this, you will see it on there too so are you gonna rag on the ferrari guys and tell them there cars are the same as to what you thought the NSX is and then apologize. :tongue:

As for the owner of the "Enzo" I am sure hearing your car get knocked is nothing new. At least you were smart enough to install the harness seatbelt. :biggrin:

So, if you're going to hang around for a bit, tell us about your car. You did all the body work yourself? If you don't mind my asking, why did you make the design choices you did? I mean let's face it, it doesn't really look like an Enzo. Instead, it looks like a caricature of an Enzo.

In a way, I can appreciate some of the artistry of your design. If you were promoting this as a novelty car, I think you would get some love. It's that it's presented as an Enzo clone that's getting you laughed at, simply because it's not. Certainly we have seen attempts to clone other supercars that didn't come out so well (and a few that did). At least your car seems to have the fitments down fairly well - no lose floppy body panels that I can see.

Any comments or stories about this build?
 
If you are the creator of this kit car then you have to understand the reaction.I would think this car is more art car .There is a strong market for art cars,as there is a strong market for folk art.Art cars can be parody of themselves or are meant to represent something else.There is a huge probability you are not the creator,so to prove us wrong we will need a picture of you next to the car holding a sign with the nsxprime password IM-ID-0T:biggrin:
