Here's mine, LM DBKs. Sorry for the crappy pics.

thanks for the post Jim!

Why does your rims look so small and the rubber so thick? Are you lowered or on stock suspension? What size tires are you running as they look kinda thick....?

Compared to the other picture posted of the white nsx above, there is a dramatic difference. Is the white nsx with the 18/19's vs. 17/18 on the black one a size issue or more the drop and tire size?

I'm pretty sure the sizes on the white NSX are 17/18. There is a BBS LM post somewhere here on the boards discussing sizes/offsets and posting various pics.

Well that's good news since finding a set of 19/18 LM's are nearly impossible!

I followed that website url on the picture and turned up nothing. Who's car does that belong to or has more concrete info?

I'm running 215/40 F; 275/35 R, lowered on Bilsteins. 215/40 & 265/35 are the recommended sizes but I bought the 275s because I got a good deal on them.

93B18, the white NSX does have 18/19, not 17/18.

Thanks Jim!

There CAN'T be that many sets of 18/19 GOLD BBS LM's out there so my guess is perhaps those gold LM's are the same set sold from perhaps one owner to the other?

I would love to get my hands on a set of 18/19 SILVER BBS LM's.

So all the pictures up above are 18/19 except Jim's black NSX?

All of this information is really useful and nice to know - thanks guys NSXPRME IS AWESOME!

LMs are always a classic choice. The neat thing is if you get the ones that are all gold, with the red centrecaps (can't remember the name for this type) it will look both racy and classic.

I still miss my set. 17/18's are a nice look but I like the 18/19 combo posted above.

Oyagi: Did you have 17/18" setup? Do you remember what tire sizes you were running or did you find the wheels looking too small?

I was thinking 215/40/17 up front on 17x7.5 rim and 265/35/18 rear on 18x9 rim....

Looks pretty good at that angle....were you really slammed? Any up close shots?

I just noticed your LM's have gold LIPS too! I think it would have looked much nicer if you kept the polished lips.

I'm definitely going silver faced wheels for my car - not a big fan of gold...

thanks for the pics,
rick

The all gold BBS's are the F1 Championship Editions, pretty rare and pretty expensive. I bought them used on Prime and had them resprayed a darker copper colour, then had to sell them as they did not clear my AP Racing BBK.

When I was at the wheel refinisher I couldn't decide if I wanted them silver, or gold centered with a polished lip etc. In the end I just went with all copper. The nice thing about LMs is that they will look good in any colour, and always strikes that perfect blend of class, prformance and bling. Its definitely a wheel connoisseur's wheel.

Dhalsim really wants a set: http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=114126&highlight=gold+bbs

The gold is a bit too much BLING for me! Hahaha Yeah I saw Dhalsim’s post about buying wheels but I definitely want a silver set of rims with red caps. The decision right now is mainly to go 17/18 or 18/19.

I prefer the slammed look and to me the 18/19 combo is just too big and makes the car look “lifted” a bit especially up front. Does anyone here own a set of 17/18 LM’s on their 2002+ nsx that is SLAMMED?

I guess the other way is just to try them, worst comes to worse, I can just sell them….haha

Let’s just say hypothetically I want to buy a set of new 18/19” LM’s in silver for my NSX and willing to pay, what is the best route to take? Tirerack does not list any of the BBS rims for our cars in 19” 

Argh! All these pics of LMs is making me want another set! NooOOoooOOOO!!!

Rick, knowing your style and seeing your previous rides I'd definitely suggest holding out to get the 18/19 BBS LM setup. Here is my nsx on 18/19 AVUS MF-02 3 piece super slammed on Tein Ra's... it is possible to get the car low on the 18/19

As I told you before, the wheels are 18/19; this white car is a conversion, done on a car that used to have forgeline/comptech wheels, I believe the owner was a scammer on another board, and changed his name on this board after a link was made between the two accounts.

Here is the original thread:

This is the size BBS recommends for the nsx; the front is pretty good, but the rear needs to be kicked out approx 10mm, or you need to run a 285/35/18 to make them appear wider - in addition, as with any wheel, the car should be lowered.

Here are pictures of my nsx with 17/18 BBS F1 2001 championship editions, and 285/35/18 pilot sports in the rear - the car is lowered on advance flat out coilovers - these wheels are the same size/offset as Jim's, basically what BBS would tell you to buy if you gave them a call:

I sold the championship editions, and am having my second set of nsx LM's powdercoated black pearl, to create this result (a little darker than the DBLK finish offered as a special edition by BBS):
