just started on my veilside kit today. looking for the original veilside headlights (very hard to find) if i can't find it i will use the Toyota Celica headlights instead . Any suggestion is welcome, please i am looking for other type of headlights that will fit the veilside kit....help me

i am planning on putting the rear panel vent and a false scoop on my roof, maybe i might make it a working scoop by running it into the cabin for fresh air:smile:
also i am looking for rims and tires for the wide body kit 19x8.5 front 20x12 rears

i found a great auto body shop and they were the one that build the white veilside nsx (aka CinCity)

here are pix of a veilside nsx that they are currently working,i will post pix of my nsx within the coming days

that first one is not a veilside..... totally custom and way nicer.

I agree with EAC.

the first car was bad ass, the veilside style is to old now. kinda like the original Star Trek the tv version of the Enterprise was so old looking compared to the Next Generation Enterprise version.

most of the cars that have the Veilside conversion re-sale is Killed.

there is a guy on E-bay that has his Veilside listed, and its been on e-bay for like 4 years.

the next owner will probably return the car to stock. looks way better.

but its your car and if that style wide body kit appeals to you then go for it.

but def post your pics and the progress so we know it was done right.

i am choosing the veilside kit cause i love it... regardless of the resell value or how old the style it is, i think the veilside kit is thee all time best kit ever
for the nsx.....

i will be at the body shop today and i will post more pix.

Get in touch with Veilside Japan. I know everyone is always saying they've been discontinued and you can no longer buy them, but I contacted them last year and could have purchased the entire kit for $9k (as opposed to the original $12k). I ended up finding a company in the US that still had a couple of kits left, and got the whole thing for $8k shipped.

Paint on mine should be done in the next week or two, and I have iForged making my wheels right now. Those are still another 3-5 weeks out, though.

Does anyone happen to have any info on the NSX in the first pic? I really like that one, too.

Ensure if you are putting that rear wing on it is reinforced, not the greatest when traveling down the highway and it's flapping. Also on the pedestal area of the wing it is prone to cracking. Hasn't happend to my bro but eventually if it isn't done correctly it will.

Yes. The car is quite different now however.

Side note for "mainsx" I do have a mold/tool for the roof cap. I would not recommend using it for a cabin vent. The velocity of the air is substantial at speeds of 60+mph.

the roof air scoop it what i love thee most... i would hate to put a non working air scoop, so another thought is to run the air lines to my engine some where.... i dont like it on the glass hatch.... so imagine this in the cabin there will be a maybe a small pipe running to the engine area... or i can keep it simple and put a ball valve and run fresh air into the cabin with a prefilter of course

not to rain your parade, but youre building a w/b NSX, not a w/b civic. If you cant afford something, wait until you have the money and do it right the first time. Personally I would never put celica lights on my NSX, but thats me. Im building a w/b right now myself, so I feel your pain...

^^^ x2, save the money, and do it right, your obviously spending more than 10K alone just for the kit and paint, so obviously you got the money to blow, have you ever seen prices for just the OEM 02 conversion headlights

They are ADV wheels. Not cheap! Crazy offset. The rear alone is 20x12 with
-38 offsets 335's with room for more. The tires weigh more than the wheels.

Make sure you have the body done right. This body was done at Bell Reed in Washington and took a lot of time. Also the door caps need to be adjusted correctly so when the kit goes on it has to be in sequence.

I would say the same ^^^
When I first saw this thread, my first reaction was "Damn, you are in deep sh!t". Sounds like you haven't done your homework correctly.
But best of luck to you though.
FYI, that yellow Veilside with those Advans are $8K set up! IIRC
