Mine has the same problem on the center console. The car sat inside a garage that wasn't climate controlled all of it's life. I'm the second owner.

I had the same problem and it turned out to be the cable that connects under the TCS switch was loose. Reseated the cable TCS switch has worked fine for 2 years now...Lyle

TCS Yes, If you take the cover off below the dash (2 screws) you can see under dash to make sure connection tight.
