Another non-NSX owner making negative comments about Gen 1 and Gen 2 NSX's.
Will never own one but has to comment on perceived shortcomings.
Don't add any value and I always wonder why they join Prime.
Owners will tell you that you need to drive the new NSX for a period of time before you understand the car.
The NSX is not about having the best performance numbers.
If you want big horsepower keep your turbo-ed Audi.
Then you won't like the NSX.
The NSX can't compare to a turbocharged 5.2 liter engine.
Don't buy an NSX, you'll only be disappointed.

It is early days but it will build over time.
I believe 1st and 2nd gear shifts are controlled by the ECU and you can only manually shift into 1st at very low speeds.
If you are moving slowly enough to use 1st gear for acceleration the car will automatically go there.
I'd suggest that if you sense driving an NSX to work might have some negative results from co-workers, then follow your instincts and leave it at home.
Sometime conspicuous consumption is inappropriate.
Sounds to me like you have sound judgement.

Doesn't look like Porsche lost any market share to Honda.
Someone must have lost some share as I don't think the market for 2 seat mid-engined cars expanded by a lot.

Who in the North doesn't start a stored car at least once every three months?
That's like once in the middle of each winter.
That's all Honda is asking owners to do to keep the EV battery with enough charge to start the car after 6 months of storage.
