    Australian NSXs'

Hi, NeoNSX. I loved visiting your city of Melbourne a few years ago . . . but when I came out of a restaurant after a nice Italian meal, my rental car had been stolen! I couldn't figure out why they couldn't finbd it -- after all, it's only an island!

It's Poll time! What's the mileage and year of your NSX?

    '01 red/tan....1,100 miles...still smells new.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!

As probably one of the few NSX owners who's also an ordained minister (though no longer working for a church; I'm writing books instead), may God bless each of you in 2003! I hope you all have a terrific year in every way, including the spiritual.

Opinion: 02' NSX vs. 01' NSX

I cast my vote with those who think the '01 front looks better than the '02, but the '02 rear looks better than the '01. I recently had to choose between the '01 and '02, and I bought a red '01 because I really like the traditional NSX front. I think it looks more aggressive than the '02.

    RX8

Put me in the "I think it's ugly" category . . . especially its back.

What car were you GLAD to get rid of?

Interesting discussion over in the Ferrari chat room in response to this question: What car were you most happy to get rid of? Nobody, incidentally, mentioned an NSX! For me, it was a 1987 VW Jetta. It always ran too hot, body parts were constantly falling off, it would stall for no apparent...

Body shop in Orange County CA area

Thanks from me, too. Just got my 2001 red NSX a few weeks ago, but will keep the name/phone number of the body shop just in case! I hope I never need it. I'm dreading the near-inevitability of the first little scratch. I'll mourn for a week. It has been great to enjoy the car in perfect condition.

Would you like your NSX if it were as common as a Miata?

Exclusivity was definitely a factor for me. I like to drive something that people seldom see on the road. Previous cars include a Saleen S281 Mustang Speedster and Lexus SC430 (before they became fairly commonplace). I considered an older Ferrari but bought the NSX because of its ease of...

    Comptech Question

I've only owned my NSX for a week and have a question about Comptech exhaust and headers. I see lots of references on this site but can anyone spell out for me the advantages/disadvantages of adding them? Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

    Too good to pass up!

Thanks for the welcome, guys. Hey, a question: I'm in Orange County, CA, and am now in the market for supercharger, Comtech headers/exhaust, etc. Can anyone recommend a good place where I can get good advice? Leeps

    Too good to pass up!

You're right, Matt -- it's the red one from South Coast Acura. That yellow 2000 looks pretty sweet, too, if you know someone who's looking. Leeps

    heater question

Yes, Phoenix has dry heat. And so does a blow torch! Gimme moderate California anytime, canyon fires and all.

    Too good to pass up!

Well, I've been monitoring this site for too long, waiting for an opportunity to join the club by getting an NSX. Sold my Saleen S281 Mustang convertible and went hunting. Almost bought a 2002, but then I spotted a brand new, never titled, never driven red 2001 at a nearby dealer. Personally, I...
