I did this mod when I installed the alarm on my '01. It sure is nice to see the lights blink. The ONLY downside...if you press the door lock/unlock button, the lights will also blink. Just part of the fun when you splice into the wires that make things work.

I am changing servers, and wish to update my picture pointers on my posts to the new server, however, I am unable to edit my own posts. Is there a time limit that locks these out. I am logged in and the server knows it is me as I can get into my PM folder. THANKS!

I hardwired the connection for the Battery Tender Plus onto my 2001. It is a garage queen, and only a weekend car (when the weekends are nice). The plug sits behind the front license plate (it's a Texas thing), so you don't see it until I whip it out! :wink:

Yep. I-10 to Loop 1604 to Hwy 16. The route AFTER we get through Bandera is the BEST part.

Gentlemen (you, too, Ricky :wink: ). Not that I wish to dissuade anyone from attending the outing, however, if you do not plan on going the full route, to and from lunch is going to be almost three hours, each way, of I-10, at posted speed levels. I will do my best to find a suitable lunch...

Sorry about that timing issue...not too much interest in the two day, and too far to go to get to the great stuff. I thought I had mentioned the expected times and miles a couple of weeks ago... Lunch will probably be in Medina, which is just outside of Bandera.

If we leave on time, and keep our stops short, and our drive fun, the entire day will be roughly 12 - 14 hours. Thus, we should be home by 10:00 PM that evening.

We are not going anywhere near Austin, TX. We are headed to, and around, San Antonio. After we make the drive through the hill country, we will reverse the route.
