Yes, that's the correct link to the unit. I don't know what kind of output/connectors are used for the AEM unit, but this Coral Vision unit has an aux video in for a backup camera.
Installed this Coral Vision unit inside my nav pod today. It's about 1-inch thick, so it fits easily inside the nav pod. No headunit, just Apple Carplay running off my iPhone.
You guys are awesome. All I had to do is google my trunk release problem and bam! got this answer about the glove compartment button and that's all that it was. Thanks!

From what I understand about the Pioneer unit, or any other commercial unit that displays a video representation of the iPhone...
it's not a full mirror of the iPhone. such units display a very limited subset of apps. There is an informal collection of safety regulations
under google searches...

The monitor has an HDMI input... so, it's just an iPhone HDMI adapter, which has an HDMI output.
