Without telling me the guys that replaced my timing belt broke one of the coil pack covers and glued it back together. They also malformed the gasket allowing water to enter the plug hole. Of course that destroyed the coil pack on that cylinder causing a miss. By the time the smoked cleared...
The battery on my 05 has been going down when left for a few days. I thought it was just a weak battery, so I replaced it with anew yellow top Optima. Same thing . If left for about 3 days the bat is dead and needs recharging. Any thoughts?

The right side side marker light gasket on my 05 is torn. I went to the dealer to get a replacement and was told there isn't one. I would have to buuy the entire assembly toget the gasket. 80.00 + tax for a 2.00 gasket. theres got to be a better way.
There's been a lot of feed back and that's been greatly helpful and appreciated. I've talked to several independant shops that service F360s and most have said the maintenance is really required. Apparantely Ferraris don't like brake fluid and if it's not flushed regularly you'll have all kinds...
I spent some time in Europe this summer and there were a number of ferraris around especially in switzerland ( all those rich bankers I guess) anyway I got to thinking it may be cool to have a Ferrari:rolleyes: just for fun. My wife was really going for it since I told her I would get a F1...
I've owned Honda products since I bought a 1985 Honda Prelude. Still miss that little car. I autocrossed it until it had about 150 k then in 95 it was toasted by a drunk. Even with a ran hard beater if I went to the Honda shop they treated me like I just bought a new NSX next door at the Acura...
92NSX, Since they built Hwy 98 into a four lane a lot of the locals call the old 98 main st. I was a bit confused too the first time someone gave me directions using main st. I couldn't find it on a map or anywhere. There are street signs displaying main st but thats the only place you'll see...
Daphne is very different than Mobile. It is across the bay in Baldwin county. We have a small town atmosphere with very low crime etc. People around here know you don't want to mess up in Baldwin. Your family may not see you for a while. Our parades are of course smaller than Mobile's but just...
The parade ran down main st through town then circled down to the bay and back to main st. It was a real blast. People hollering as we went by and stuff. :biggrin:We carried as big a box of beads and moon pies etc as we could fit between the seats and threw stuff to people that seemed to pay the...
Last Friday we were asked to drive our NSX in a mardi gras parade. The parade route was about 5 miles lined on both sides of the street with people. For the entire route we were greeted with loud shouts and comments about the car. A few people knew what it was, A lot of people asked what it was...
The original owner chromed the wheels on my 05. The center caps are flaking off chrome. Is there an oem center cap that is at least partially chromed that I could use as a replacement? I think I saw one on a TL that looked pre3tty good.
The previous owner of my 05 had the wheels chromed. :eek:They are now showing some bubling and flaking of the chrome in spots. Can the chrome be removed returing the wheel to original finish?
I'm wondering if it would be faster if I put my old 95 15/16 on my 05 for auto cross purposes. I thought the lower rim size would increase gear ratios thus increasing low end torgue. I have a set of 15 16 thought I would put some falken azensis on.
I don't know about replacing it every three years. My 95 worked great with no leaks. I never had to replace the gasket. Just sold the car recently when I got my 05. 13 years no leaks. I did keep it clean and used a weather stripping lube i got at the auto store. Nothing glamorous just the over...
My 05 has a leak around the targa right at the front left corner. The dealer decided it needed a new gasket there. I couldn't beleive the cost the gasket was 968.00  and the labor to install it was 350.00. Thank goodness it was a warrantee item. Now I just hope they know how to install it...
:mad:I usually don't drive my car when its raining. I don't think it will hurt it I just don't want to have to wash it all the time. But I did get caught out in the rain today and I discovered a leak coming in from the top near the drivers seat somewhere. I couldn't figure out where it was...
The chatter is really not bad at all. In fact it's barely noticable, but I guess I'm used to my 95 which was as smooth as glass. After 85k there was no sign of chatter or slippage. Just grab and go. If it were to cost me anything I wouldn't spend it since it's so minor but I thought since my 95...
As some of you know I recently received my 2005 Red NSX. Although I had it checked out by Acura of Peoria who said it was perfect when it arrived I noticed the clutch chattered at take off. I took it to the local Acura dealer and he said it was either caused by a warped flywheel or a glazed...
