Thanks Honcho, I have "knocking" sound when engaging gear and mechanics suggest that it is the drive shaft (may be along side with all the other suspension parts). Will continue to search.

Hi I am not sure, I think the system has a dedicated wire for trunk release and my mechanics just re wired it. It was too long ago... Sorry cant help further but I know it works.

i have the same sound but my is with EPS The sound even worst after replacing the SOS bushing which I think the SOS bushing actually tighten things up but also allowing wherever making the rattling sound amplifies even more.
