I noticed on Tirerack.com that there are a few more wheel choices available for earlier year NSXs than later. Are there different fender, lining and hub dimensions for the various OEM wheels sizes over the years? Or is it just Tirerack's database? Thanks in advance.

As the title suggests: Is the knob (newer leather-baseball-type) and/or shift lever higher than that of all previous years? Or just an illusion due to the knob itself being shorter? I may be picking up a 2005 soon and wanted to swap the stock with an NSX-R knob. I've tried "searching" to no avail.
