Yeah, it's a real rally. It's one of the better divisional ones, IMHO. As I recall, this had some very high speed parts in an old quarry or something. I remember being drag-limited in top gear and a few "moments" there.

I've run that rally- a couple years ago. The locals are very nice and they even have a "race queen". If it's like two years ago, they actually have a nice parc ferme right in town and then a start from main street!

Who did the sleeving work? So many shops do the 4-cyls, but not too many do our motor. I assume you were happy with their work. Thanks again.

You may want to get the car aligned with it loaded up (you and your luggage). Makes quite a difference and will help with tire wear. I look forward to reading your trip report- hopefully en route. This is a great idea, best of luck!

I'm talking about something capacitor based instead of batteries. You'd be storing charge instead of electrochemical energy. This is more suitable to quick uptake of braking energy.

The DualNote uses an ultracapacitor, not batteries. But this is likely all moot due to magazine delays and the new info we all have.

IMHO, this car is what the SSM was to the S2000. I think guessing HP at this point is premature. I think the major issue is differentiating the powerplant from the new TL. Perhaps even a different engine for NA and Japan...
