    Niguel Motors

Thanks to LMR and Aero Z for recommending Ramon at Niguel Motors in Laguna Hills. And a gigantic thanks to Ramon, who replaced the timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, alt and ac belts, changed the engine oil, trans and brake fluid, adjusted the valves, replaced the struts and lowered my 2000...

Need shop recommendation in Palm Springs area for timing belt replacement

LMR & Aero Z, Thank you both. I was hoping for a local shop for the sake of simplicity but I suspect you're right and I'll likely give Ramon a call. One of the many joys of the NSX has been the ability to have it serviced locally as opposed to my 430 spider, service for which always involves...

Need shop recommendation in Palm Springs area for timing belt replacement

Hi gang, I haven't checked in for about 10 years but am glad to see NSXPrime revived and vigorous. I've put 57,000 miles on my 2000 NSX and reckon it's time to replace the timing belt, water pump and maybe clutch but don't know if my local dealership, Acura of the Desert, is up to the task...

Need recommendation for timing belt replacement in Palm Springs area

I accidentally posted this twice because the first time I tried I got an error message saying that I wasn't authorized. I tried again with a shorter version and both ended up on the forum.

I'm referring to true track-only cars that cannot be made street legal.

Anybody know if track cars that are not street legal require any form of DMV registration in California?

Q, Please try that again. No link, no article attached, at least on my screen. I also checked the Trib but couldn't find it. Thanks. Rex

    WTB: Harness bar

Looking for a harness bar for 2000 NSX. Prefer type that bolts into factory holes and allows use of standard belts as well as harness. If you have one you want to sell, send me a PM with details. Thanks, Rex

Well that almost worked. The post I was trying to link to is about halfway down that thread.

KGP, Justin is 6'3" or 6'4" and fits comfortably in his car. SR3's have an adjustable pedal block so that the car can be set up to fit a wide range of drivers. Radical West sets up each car for the owner and, in addition to adjusting the pedal block, they adjust corner weights in order to...

Ken, The body consists of 5 sections and all are readily available. Radical West stocks them. In fact, at Thunderhill last weekend Justin LaJoie, co-owner of Radical West, started the weekend driving an all black car and ended with a red, black and blue car after a couple of accidents. They...

Photos of my new SR3 arriving at LAX

Taj, I’m told a manufacturer is allowed to sell 500 cars under the kit car rule. Radical doesn't sell kits, they only sell completed, tested cars so it would involve having them disassemble a car and then reassembling it here. I briefly considered it but in order to drive the car on the...

Taj, The SR3 can be make street legal in the UK, which may explain the 6 tail lights. I ordered my car with brake lights to give other drivers a little heads-up but it stops so much faster than other cars that the lights are probably irrelevant. All Radicals with lights have one clear tail...

John's turbo. From the Radical website: "Prior to despatch, this car was run up on Radical's new rolling road dyno, and produced 320bhp at the crank."

That's John Morris's new SR3 Turbo in the background. John drove it for the first time last weekend at Thunderfest (Thunderhill Raceway) and placed 1st. It tuns out that John's is car #1, Radical's very first turbo. The prototype holds the lap record at Nurburgring.
