One must ask: With all that attention to detail, why do Ferraris have a less-than-stellar reputation when it comes to reliability?

Shall we start a list?

1. Inept engineering
2. Inferior materials
3. Poor construction
4. Lousy quality control
5. Questionably trained assembly staff

Anyone want to continue?

But its a French Video of the Ferrari Factory Video very impressed!
hope the next NSX gets similar treatment.

I don't! The first part of the factory looks like a medieval blacksmith's shop compared to the original NSX factory at Tochigi. :)

The new part of the factory does have some nice plants and trees in it though.

.

The dark ages blacksmithing seems a little rudimentary.

Seems like a very inefficient way to build a car.

I was just thinking the other day that Ferrari's comparatively extreme involvement in racing as a percentage of its overall corporate activity may have generated an attitude of performance at the cost of reliability. I mean they are used to their cars needing regular service and repair on the race circuit. It's a corporate philosophy. Thoughts?
